Rare
The concept for this project was to physically build a word using a material that related to the word in some way. I chose the word "Rare" and used sticks and natural elements to build my letters. I chose Helvetica as the typeface. The idea was to then take pictures in areas that related with the word.
I chose to use "Rare" as my word for this project because so many places in and around Denver have an exceptionally unique quality to them. This word personally ties into my life because my family owns property that was once a working silver mine in the 1870s. During my time growing up I spent a good amount of time at this property which is seemingly in the middle of nowhere and helped to shape my love for the rare outdoor experience of Colorado.
